Wallet Connections and Boker Account Safety
We explain the difference between Boker account sign-in, optional wallet connections, and Solana transfers, what we will never request, and what to do after a suspicious prompt or compromise.
Before you sign in, connect, or deposit
- Type boker.gg yourself or use a bookmark you created after checking the domain.
- Treat look-alike domains, sponsored results, shortened links, giveaways, and unsolicited direct messages as higher risk.
- Boker account sign-in uses a verified email or the separate wallet sign-in option. You do not need to connect a wallet just to create or use an email account.
- If you choose to connect a wallet or send a deposit, use a wallet appropriate for this activity and do not deposit more than you can afford to lose.
- Install your wallet extension or app only from its official publisher.
- Do not deposit until our operator identity, eligibility rules, custody terms, privacy terms, and support route are clear enough for your situation.
Connecting is different from depositing
A Boker account can use a verified email or the separate wallet sign-in option. Connecting a wallet does not sign in to an email account or move an asset. To deposit, send a Solana transfer from a compatible wallet or exchange to the deposit address shown in Boker; a wallet connection is not required to receive it.
A wallet message signature and a deposit transaction have different effects. Read every wallet prompt: a message may authenticate a wallet sign-in or authorize a specific action, while a transaction can transfer assets.
After a deposit, the asset is no longer controlled solely by your external wallet. You depend on our ledger, treasury security, and withdrawal process to receive it back.
We process Poker buy-ins, bets, and standing through your existing custodial balance. When account MFA is enabled, Poker seat access and protected play actions require a second-factor step-up. Standing or leaving remains available if you need to exit a table.
Read every request before you sign
A message signature and a transaction signature do different things. Before approving a transaction, check the domain, network, destination, asset, amount, fee, and program interactions. Cancel any prompt you did not start or cannot explain.
A familiar logo, green check, simulation, or person claiming to represent Boker is not enough. If your wallet cannot explain the instructions, do not sign them.
We will never ask for your wallet secrets
- We will never ask for your recovery phrase or seed phrase.
- We will never ask for your private key.
- We will never ask for a remote-screen session that exposes wallet secrets.
- We will never ask you to send funds to validate, synchronize, or unlock a custodial balance.
- We will never ask you to sign an unrelated transaction to resolve an issue.
Connections, approvals, and addresses
Use Boker Log out to revoke the current email-account session. Disconnecting a wallet only ends that wallet-app connection; it does not sign out an email account, undo a transaction, or return a custodial balance. If you used wallet sign-in, disconnecting alone may not end its Boker session. On a shared or untrusted browser, log out and clear boker.gg site data. Disconnecting also does not necessarily revoke token approvals or undo a transaction you already signed. Review connected apps and permissions with independently trusted tools.
A blockchain transfer can be irreversible. Verify the full deposit or withdrawal address, network, asset, and mint, not only the first and last characters. Read the address shown in your Boker account immediately before sending a deposit.
If you suspect a compromise
- Stop signing and disconnect the affected device from suspicious sites.
- From a trusted device, create a fresh wallet with official software if your secrets may be exposed.
- Move remaining self-custodied assets only after independently checking the destination and transaction.
- Review recent transactions and permissions. Preserve addresses, signatures, screenshots, and times.
- Report impersonation through official wallet-provider and Boker channels published on their official domains.
- Treat a revealed recovery phrase or private key as permanently compromised.
What these precautions cannot guarantee
Hardware wallets, separate wallets, simulation, allowlists, and address checks can reduce specific risks. They cannot remove malware, deception, custody, operational, legal, smart-contract, network, or user-error risk. A successful withdrawal does not guarantee that a later request will succeed or arrive on the same timeline.
We have not yet published a verified public support route on boker.gg. Do not rely on direct messages claiming to provide Boker support.
Frequently asked questions
Does Boker need my seed phrase?
No. We will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key. Either secret gives control of your wallet.
Can a message signature move my funds?
A plain message signature does not itself transfer an asset, but it can authenticate a session or be used deceptively. Verify the exact domain and message before signing.
Does logging out or disconnecting a wallet withdraw deposited funds?
No. Logging out ends the Boker account session, and disconnecting ends the wallet connection. Neither reverses a deposit or returns a custodial balance; you must submit a separate withdrawal request.
Should sitting at a Poker table request a wallet transaction?
No. We debit an existing custodial balance on our server. Cancel and investigate an unexpected on-chain transaction prompt during a table action.
